Community Engagement Services
Educational and other needs for all age groups - children, adults, and senior adults - are addressed through a wide of array of direct services including tutoring, college and career readiness services, and senior adult programs.
Adult Education Programs

Cornerstone believes in the importance of a quality education. As a result, we strongly encourage our program participants to pursue their education and offer several ways for them to do just that. Those we serve have the opportunity to participate in classes such as Computer skills training, GED tutoring, and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. These classes are offered to our clients as a part of the journey toward financial independence and greater self-determination.

For information on how to enroll or to volunteer as a teacher/instructor, contact Melvin by email or call 817-632-6012.
Senior Adult Program

Each Friday, from 10 am-12 pm, seniors meet for arts and crafts, Bible study, educational sessions, and to celebrate birthdays and holidays, all of which are free of charge. This is a wonderful opportunity for seniors 55+ to fellowship and learn together. The group meets in the Training Room of Cornerstone, 3500 Noble Avenue, just north east of downtown Fort Worth along SH 121 between the Riverside and Beach St. exits.

Staffed mostly by volunteers with a heart to serve, this program provides socialization and companionship that everyone should be able to enjoy, despite financial limitations.

If you would like more information on this program as a participant or volunteer with seniors, contact Melvin by email or call 817-632-6012.
